Here is where you can perform ad maintenance & photo uploads. By using your login information, which was sent to you via e-mail when you listed your home, at the dialogue box below you can upload pictures directly from your computer to your ad. (You should have received detailed photo upload instructions in the listing confirmation email that was sent to you.) If you still have questions please view the detailed instructions below.
FSBOHQ-USA now allows you to upload photos right from your own computer. It's very easy, however we do suggest reading the FAQ list below.
- How do I add photos from my computer?
You will have the ability to upload photos right from your hard drive if you have some scanned and have saved them in .jpg format. To use the upload feature you will need to be using netscape or internet explorer.The only place you can use the upload feature is when you are in "edit mode" which means you have logged in to edit your ad and the "upload photos" button appears at the bottom of your listing.
- How do I know if I can use the upload feature?
The fastest way to know if this feature will work for you is to look for a button called "BROWSE" This is the button that will allow you to browse your own computer for the file(s) you want to upload. If for some reason that button is not there you may need to
contact us for assistance and, possibly, need to make other arrangements to add photos, such as e-mailing them to photos@fsbohq-usa.com, or sending them the old fashioned way: the U.S. Postal Service.
- I dont have a scanner?
If you want to get your photos up fast but do not have a scanner the fastest way is to place your ad then take your photos to a place to have them scanned for you such as "kinkos" or a friend etc.. Tell the person scanning that the images should be scanned at 72 DPI (standard) and sized approximately 320 wide by 200 or so high and save as .jpg format. Once you have your photos scanned you may return to your computer and login to your listing and upload them to your ad.
- Can I change the photos once they are uploaded?
You may change photos as often as you like as long as you are uploading them yourself using the photo upload feature. If we scan them for you and place them they remain the same until you cancel (unless your situation has changed and can now use the upload feature).
- I uploaded replacement photos and do not see a change.. why?
You may have the other photo(s) in the memory also known to as "cache" so you will need to click the reload button on your browser to update your cache. Be sure you are on the same page as your photo when you click reload.
- I get errors when uploading photos?
There are 2 common errors. Invalid format and size restrictions. It is very important to save your images as .jpg and keep the files size down as low as possible otherwise the person looking at your ad will be waiting too long to get the pictures and may simply move on to the next listing.
- Can I just mail or e-mail my photos?
You may e-mail your photos to us at photos@fsbohq-usa.com. Or, you may "regular" mail your photos to us (remember to include a self addressed stamped envelope so that we can mail your photos back to you). When sending photos to us, whether it is via e-mail or regular mail, you should ALWAYS include your listing ID.
